Salary: £47,026 - £50,071 Per Annum.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday.
Holiday entitlement: 7 weeks per annum including bank holidays (pro-rata)

Dove House Hospice is a trusted local charity providing expert palliative care across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Our multidisciplinary teams deliver personalised, high quality support to patients and their families—where and how they need it most.

We are now seeking an experienced Head of Therapies and Wellbeing Services to lead and evolve our therapy provision, making a significant contribution to the future of our services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dove House Hospice at a pivotal time, as part of our leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering high quality, holistic care that supports people with life limiting illnesses to live well and with dignity.

About the role
Reporting as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse range of services, including:

. Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy
. Complementary therapies and therapeutic activities
. Family support, child bereavement and spiritual care

You will lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective and person centred care, while maintaining strong clinical credibility. You’ll also drive innovation, service development and continuous improvement, ensuring our services meet the evolving needs of our community.

What you’ll be doing
. Lead, manage and develop Therapies and Wellbeing teams
. Ensure high quality, holistic care for patients and families
. Drive service improvement, innovation and development
. Support staff performance, learning and wellbeing
. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partners
. Contribute to strategy, governance and quality assurance
. Represent the hospice and promote best practice

About you
You will be an experienced and compassionate leader with a strong clinical background in health or social care.

You’ll bring:
. A relevant professional qualification and degree level education.
. Significant experience in palliative care and multidisciplinary working.
. Proven leadership and team management experience
. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
. A strong understanding of governance, quality and continuous improvement
