Job title: Lead SENCO

Location: Little Owls @ Ainthorpe, Ainthorpe Grove, Hull, HU5 5EB / Little Owls @ Dove House, Chamberlain Road, Hull, HU8 8DH

Salary: £29,600 per annum

Hours of work: 30 - 40 hours per week. Hours to be worked between 7:30am and 6pm Monday to Friday, this can be discussed further at interview.

Role open to applications: Until 11th June 2026. Interview date TBC.

We are looking for two passionate and committed Lead SENCos to join our team at Little Owls — one based at our Ainthorpe site and one based at our Dove House site.

These are key leadership roles, supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve the best possible outcomes in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Working closely with nursery teams, families and external professionals, you will lead on early identification, provide guidance and support to colleagues, and ensure every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive. With a calm, approachable and organised approach, you will play a vital role in promoting inclusive practice and ensuring our SEND provision remains of the highest quality.
