Role: Bank Nurse

Pay: £15.29 to £16.06 per hour depending on experience

Hours: This is a bank role, therefore the hours of work are on an as and when required basis. It is important that the applicant has the ability to cover shifts at short notice.


Are you able to support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in carrying out their role in overseeing the Inpatient Unit and its nursing team?

Are you able to demonstrate clinical competence and expertise in palliative care and end of life care nursing, displaying a sound understanding of symptom management, acting as a resource for nursing colleagues?

Are you able to lead, plan, implement and evaluate patient’s care. Ensure all documentation completed by nurses is both accurate and legible in relation to patient care in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines and Dove House Hospice policies and procedures?

*This is a Bank role. The hours of work are on an as and when required basis, to cover periods of sickness/annual leave. Availability of work on our Bank will obviously vary dependant on many factors within the Hospice. We must state that the Hospice is under no obligation to offer you work, and for legal reasons all work offered and accepted will be separate from the next.
