Salary: £22,308 full time equivalent. Actual salary of £17,846 per annum.
Hours of work: 30 hours per week to be worked 4 out of 7 days on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday (this will include Bank Holidays). Daily hours are 8:45am-5:15pm with 1 hour unpaid break.
Are you able to assist the Shop Manager in the running of an efficient and effective retail outlet?
In the absence of the Shop Manager are you able to be the main keyholder for the shop?

The role is based at Dove House Hospice Shop Howden, 33 Market Place, Howden, DN14 7BL
As the Assistant Manager, you will be expected to work 4 days out of 7 on a rota basis, maintaining the high standards set in the absence of the Manager. The post holder will be responsible for sorting, categorising and pricing all donated goods, as defined in Hospice Policy as well as supervising a team of volunteers and making commercial decisions and assisting in all areas of running a commercial business.
