Location: Hull & East Yorkshire

Salary: £13.33 per hour

Hours of work: The hours of work are on an as and when required basis, to cover periods of sickness/annual leave. Availability of work on our Bank will obviously vary dependent on many factors. We must state that we are under no obligation to offer you work, and for legal reasons all work offered and accepted will be separate from the next. No mutuality of obligation shall subsist between engagements. Likewise, by joining our Bank you are under no obligation to accept work when it is offered to you.

Dove House Hospice is a local charity supporting people across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Every role within our organisation plays an important part in helping us provide high quality, person centred care for those living with progressive life limiting illnesses and support for their families.

As a Bank Furniture Driver, you will be a key member of our retail team, helping to collect and deliver donated furniture and goods, supporting our shops and house clearance service. Through your work, you will help generate vital funds and provide an excellent experience for our supporters and local community

Are you able to drive a 3.5 ton Luton van confidently and responsibly?
Are you able to carry out regular manual handling as part of your day to day work?
Are you able to deliver excellent customer service when speaking with donors, customers, and colleagues?
Could you work as part of a team, using your initiative to support our retail operations and make the most of every donation?
