Salary: £36,202 - £40,572 per annum

Dove House Hospice is seeking a skilled and motivated Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager to lead and embed best practice health, safety and environmental practices across our organisation. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work in a values driven hospice environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance while supporting exceptional care for patients, families, staff and volunteers.

You’ll be the organisation’s subject matter expert, providing practical, proportionate advice and working closely with leaders and colleagues across multiple sites. Can you…

Lead and maintain robust health, safety and environmental management systems that keep people safe and the organisation compliant?
Translate legislation into practice, keeping policies current, practical and aligned with best practice?
Support and challenge managers to produce suitable and sufficient risk assessments with effective, proportionate controls?
Help embed Safe Systems of Work across diverse services, escalating risk where necessary to protect staff, service users and the organisation?
