Job Title: Assistant Shop Manager - Onsite Shop
Location: Chamberlain Road, HU8 8DH
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, To be worked 5 days out of 7. *Please note, the onsite shop trades on a Sunday throughout our Car boot Season*
Daily Hours: 8.45 - 5.15 Mon-Sat, Sun 8.00-14.00
Salary: £17,375 Per Annum, to be paid into your account in monthly intervals.

The successful applicant will be subject to a standard DBS check.
Charity shop experience would be beneficial, as would experience of working with volunteers. An interest in fashion & clothing would also be an advantage.
We’d like to hear from you if you’ve worked as a Store Supervisor, Fashion Shop Assistant Manager or Retail Team Leader.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Be responsible for the security of all shop monies under his/her direct control, including petty cash, daily takings and banking’s, as required and directed by the Shop Manager.
2. Be responsible for ensuring effective safety and security of the shop premises, including risk assessments, safe systems of work and departmental induction training.
3. Assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment of, training of and duty rotas for volunteer staff, ensuring adequate staffing in liaison with the Regional Manager, in the relevant shop premises under his/her control.
4. Assist the Shop Manager in maintaining the shop in a clean and orderly condition, and using analytical reports making the best use of space to maximise income.
5. Be responsible for reporting immediately to the Shop Manager, findings of cash, valuables and personal papers amongst goods donated to the Hospice/shop.
