Job: Sister/Charge Nurse (Salary £33,688 to £38,610 per annum pro-rata) plus an on-call allowance of £2,836 pa.

Are you able to support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in carrying out their role in overseeing the Inpatient unit and its nursing team?

Are you able to demonstrate clinical competence and expertise in palliative care and end of life care nursing, displaying a sound understanding of symptom management, acting as a resource for nursing colleagues?

Are you able to lead, plan, implement and evaluate patients care. Ensure all documentation completed by nurses is both accurate and legible in relation to patient care in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines and Dove House Hospice policies and procedures?

Able to select to work either 22.5, 30 or 37.5 hours per week available. Please state preference when applying. Work Pattern: Depending on rotas your shift will be either: Early: 7.00 - 15.00 or Late: 13.30 – 21.30. Please state within your application if you would like the hospice to consider this role being done over long days.
